Patricia Lavigne serves as Paralegal for the practice specializing in corporate law and construction litigation. Prior to moving to Tampa ten years ago, she worked as a paralegal for six years in Toronto, Canada and for five years in Miami, Florida. During her 20 year career in the legal profession, she has assisted at trials in both the State and Federal Courts and also has an extensive background in commercial litigation, mortgage foreclosure and bankruptcy law.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art History and English Literature from the University of Toronto in 1984. At the University of Siena in Italy she spent two summers studying fresco painting and renaissance sculpture. After leaving University she attended the Institute of Paralegals in Toronto and received an Honors Certificate in Paralegal Studies in 1986.
In 2001, after completing the required examinations, Patricia became a Certified Paralegal and is currently a member of the Tampa Bay Paralegal Association and the National Association of Legal Assistants.
