Stephen D. Marlowe

Stephen D. Marlowe has been practicing law for more than 35 years. A Florida native, he was born in Jacksonville and is a graduate of the University of Florida (B.A., 1970; J.D., 1973). Prior to forming the firm in 1997 he enjoyed an eleven year association with Carlton Fields, where he was a member of its Construction Law Department. He was also a partner in Moffitt, Hart & Miller, practicing construction, corporate, and commercial law and was a member of the legal staff of Jim Walter Corporation serving as Senior Litigation Counsel.

He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Forum Committee on the Construction Industry, the Arbitration Panel for the U. S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the Panel of Arbitrators for Complex Construction for the American Arbitration Association. He is admitted to practice in all Florida State courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
